My 20th trip to BKK,  19/20 trips with Thai Airways.

Please know that if you have booked with a tour agent for the free&easy trip, there is a half day complimentary tour and its not compulsory.AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY THAT 100baht tip per pax at all, their local agent (our is JETVIEW TRAVEL) will nag and complain and maybe like ours humiliate us and said its the driver tip and all..We still chose not to pay, and guess what he did. He told the transport driver another hotel location, thankfully Mom speak fluent Thai and she managed to tell the driver our hotel location. And when we got  into the transport, there was a paper that said: " please tip the driver." -.-

Upon Arrival to the hotel THE GLOW PRATUNAM, we were greeted warmly by their staff and a pandan-flavoured drink per person. It tasted good especially when the weather is so HOT!

We had a deluxe room at the 18th floor, and the room is spacious, bed is super comfortable and shower facilities are all good. 4 bottles of bottled water is refilled in our room during our daily housekeeping. The aircon is a little too freezing and no matter how I adjust its still very cold. We have a starbucks outlet and also a 24hr Macdonalds at the ground floor. The hotel is attached to a mall SHIBUYA19 and opposite is just Pantip Plaza (which has A&W). Just a 3 minutes walk away is the popular and crowded Platinum Mall.

Breakfast at the hotel the next day.

We walked over from our hotel to the 4-faced Buddha at Erawan Shrine which is only about a 15 minutes walk. Its a place I have to go whenever I come to Bangkok to offer my prayers and show gratitude for the past year.

We headed to Sizzler for our dinner with free salad bar.We used to have one in Singapore but oh wells..Their salad bar is totally filled with various yummy soup and salad ingredients, pasta, quail eggs and fruits. I will advise you to choose lesser mains as the portion is quite big, and with the salad bar.. I was even full before my main course came.

The pork chop and jacket potato is so mouth-watering, I almost did not want to share with mom.
The fish and chicken chop was good to, especially when eaten with the pineapple *hungry*

Mom buying some fresh fruits at JJMALL.

CHACHUTAK
It is the weekend market, I will not elaborate on the shopping of
cheap clothings, shoes and bags as it is famous for these.

The Sio Bak (3 layer Pork) at 50 Baht per 100g was oh so delicious and crispy.

These are some of the herbs like bayleafs, rosemary leafs, thyme and all which is so much cheaper than what we get in Singapore. I also bought some tomyam and curry paste to settle my craves for Thai Food when I am home. I also got chye po for my grandparents to cook.

Some cheap buys that I got for Boyboy.
They cost alot more in Singapore compared to the price I pay there. All these for $12.

Never end a day without a good massage to relieve all the aches
and soreness after a full day of long walks. Its really good and cheap.
60 mins foot massage usually cost around 150 baht.
60 mins full body massage cost around 200 - 300 baht, they have Thai, Oil and Herbal Ball massages.

This is my precious lil baby BoyBoy on his way to the groomer's :)
Its affordable ($60, full groom) and they work so well with all the dogs they groom.
The right photo is Boyboy's after grooming photo, with a Badana given by his groomer.
Some of the dogs at the groomer's, they are soooo adorable!
Whenever someone enters the shop, they all stand curious.

That's all for now...GOODNIGHT!

Here's a photo of Boyboy's Sleeping Pose with his daddy shirt.
